New Vitiligo Study - Now Enrolling
Millions of people are affected by vitiligo, a condition that causes white patches of skin to appear on the face and body. Vitiligo can affect people of any race, age, or gender. Vitiligo is an autoimmune condition, which means the immune system mistakenly attacks the pigment cells in the skin. Currently, there is no cure for vitiligo, but researchers are studying new options that may be able to help.
Right now, doctors at select centers in the U.S. are accepting participants for a new clinical research study. The study is for an investigational oral medication for vitiligo. If you are 18 - 75 years old and have vitiligo on both your face and body, you may qualify to participate.
If you join, you will receive all study-related care and medication at no cost from a local doctor. You may be reimbursed for travel or other expenses directly related to your participation to attend study visits.
